More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This festive 4-pack stands out for offering a variety of holiday-themed characters, making it perfect for gifting or collection. The plush material is ultra-soft, providing cozy comfort, and each character has a unique bio that adds collectible charm. Compared with the smaller Micromallows, this set offers a more substantial, huggable experience. The only tradeoff is that it’s limited to holiday characters, so it might not be suitable for year-round use.
Pros:- Soft ultrasoft plush material
- Includes four unique characters
- Official Jazwares product with authentic design
Cons:- Limited to holiday characters
- No size details provided
Best for: Gift-givers seeking an all-in-one holiday plush set
Not ideal for: Collectors looking for small, countdown-specific plushes or non-holiday-themed plushes
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“A versatile, festive set that makes a cheerful gift for kids and collectors alike.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar is a hit for fans who love collecting tiny plushes and counting down to Christmas. The 24 small 2.5-inch Micromallows feature popular characters like Benny and Cam, making it a playful, compact way to celebrate the season. However, its small size means it’s less suitable for cuddling and more for display or collection. Compared with larger plushes, it excels in creating anticipation but isn’t ideal if the goal is a big, huggable plush.
Pros:- Includes 24 collectible plush toys
- Compact size for easy display
- Official Squishmallows with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small plush size
- Seasonal appeal only
Best for: Kids and collectors who enjoy holiday countdowns and tiny plush collectibles
Not ideal for: Those wanting larger, cuddly plush toys or non-seasonal decor
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Plush Toys:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Perfect for holiday countdown enthusiasts and collectors of tiny plushes.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
Fleur the Yule Log offers a cozy, high-quality plush experience in an 8-inch size. Its festive design and unique name make it a collectible item that balances holiday charm with everyday appeal. Compared to Hedda the Santa, Fleur’s slightly larger size makes it more cuddly, but its holiday-specific theme may limit year-round use. This plush appeals to those who want a festive centerpiece that doubles as a collectible.
Pros:- High-quality ultrasoft fabric
- Unique name and bio
- Festive Yule Log design
Cons:- Limited to 8 inches, may be small for some
- Seasonal only
Best for: Fans of seasonal decor and holiday-themed collectibles
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger plushes or non-holiday characters
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Theme:Holiday/Yule Log
Our verdict“A charming, collectible plush that adds holiday warmth to any space.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Santa plush hits the sweet spot for cuddling with a 12-inch size, making her ideal for children and collectors who prefer a substantial, huggable plush. Her ultrasoft material and Santa-themed design give her a festive appeal, but her size may be too small for those seeking a larger statement piece. Compared to Fleur, Hedda’s size makes her more versatile for cuddling, but she’s less suited for display as a seasonal decor piece.
Pros:- Soft ultrasoft material
- Ideal size for cuddling
- Official Squishmallows with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to fans of plush toys
- Size might be too small for some collectors
Best for: Kids and collectors wanting a cuddly Santa plush
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger or non-seasonal plushes
- Size:12 inches
- Character:Hedda
- Theme:Holiday/Santa
Our verdict“A cozy, festive plush perfect for cuddling or gifting during the holidays.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This Amazon-exclusive holiday 4-pack offers a different selection of characters, including Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte. Like the other 4-pack, it provides a variety of plushes with festive names and bio details, making it a fun set for collectors and gift-givers. However, its small size limits the cuddly experience, and the specific holiday theme restricts year-round display. It’s an excellent choice for those who want an exclusive, themed gift set.
Pros:- High-quality plush material
- Includes four unique characters
- Exclusive to Amazon
Cons:- Limited to holiday theme
- Small size may not appeal to everyone
Best for: Amazon shoppers wanting a festive, exclusive set
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger or non-seasonal plushes
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“An exclusive, festive set perfect for holiday gifting and collection.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the perfect holiday Squishmallow depends on your intended use—whether for gifting, collecting, or cuddling. Size, theme, and character variety all influence which plush is best suited for your needs. I’ve broken down the key factors to help you narrow down your options and pick the ideal plush for this festive season.Size and Cuddle Factor
Think about whether you want a plush that’s big enough to hug or a smaller collectible. Larger plushes like the 12-inch Hedda are best for cuddling and gift-giving, while tiny Micromallows are perfect for collection or as stocking stuffers. The size impacts how often you’ll use the plush and whether it will be a display piece or a cuddly companion.
Theme and Seasonality
Holiday-themed plushes like Fleur or Hedda add a seasonal touch, but they may be less versatile for year-round decor. Sets like the 4-pack or exclusive Amazon bundles offer a variety of characters, appealing to those who enjoy themed collections. Consider whether you want a plush that can be enjoyed beyond the holidays or strictly for the season.
Collectibility and Character Variety
Each plush’s bio and name add to its collectible appeal. If you’re into building a themed collection or enjoy character stories, look for options with unique bios like Fleur or Hedda. The advent calendar offers a daily surprise element, ideal for ongoing engagement, while multi-packs provide immediate variety for gifting or display.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for young children?
Yes, most Squishmallows are designed with ultrasoft materials and are generally considered safe for children. However, always check the age recommendations on individual products, especially for smaller plushes like Micromallows, which may pose a choking hazard for very young kids. For cuddly, safe holiday gifts, larger plushes like Hedda are a popular choice for ages 3 and up.
Can I use holiday-themed Squishmallows as year-round decor?
While seasonal designs like Fleur or Hedda add festive charm, their holiday-specific themes may limit their use outside the season. That said, some fans enjoy keeping their plushes as part of winter or holiday decor, but for year-round display, more neutral characters might be preferable. Consider whether you want a plush that can double as seasonal decor or a versatile collectible.
What size of Squishmallow is best for gifting?
The ideal size depends on the recipient. For young children, larger plushes like the 12-inch Hedda are perfect for cuddling. Smaller plushes, such as Micromallows, make fun stocking stuffers or collectible items for older kids or adults who enjoy themed decor. The size influences both the price and the gifting experience.
Are Squishmallows officially licensed?
Yes, all the products reviewed here are officially licensed by Jazwares, ensuring authentic quality and design. This authenticity guarantees that you’re purchasing a genuine Squishmallows plush, which is important for collectors and fans seeking reliable, high-quality toys.
Do Squishmallows hold their value over time?
Some Squishmallows, especially limited editions or characters with unique bios, can become collectibles that appreciate in value. Seasonal or holiday-specific plushes tend to be more desirable during the season, but their long-term value depends on rarity and demand. For casual collectors, maintaining plushes in good condition is key to preserving their value.
Conclusion
For gift buyers prioritizing versatile, cuddly plushes, the Hedda 12-inch Santa is a dependable choice. Collectors looking for seasonal decor and character stories will appreciate Fleur the Yule Log or the exclusive Amazon holiday sets. Budget-conscious shoppers who love surprises should consider Micromallows’ advent calendar, while those seeking a festive, all-in-one gift set will find the 4-pack options ideal. Each of these picks offers a different way to enjoy the holiday magic of Squishmallows.
